THE CHALLENGE: Provide full off-site catering and event management support for event attended by over 65,000 people across two remote locations.

OUR ROLE


Utilised the 1879 Events supplier network to provide full kitchen & bar facilities,
power and water supply in the off-site location, allowing for food to be cooked
fresh.

Provided chiller wagon to ensure drinks were kept cool on the warm
summer’s day.

Provided ten fully serviced bars including draft pumps, Champagne and
Prosecco.

Managed queue system and ensured high speed of service
throughout event.
Managed eight catering trailers.
Catered for the VIP tent and marquee for platinum guests which included a
formal three-course lunch.
Over 150 staff involved.
Consulted on event management including ticket sales for the golden circle, VIP
and platinum areas.
Supplied event security guards.

MENU

Smoked chicken, celery and apple tian bounded in light garam masala
mayonnaise, dressed with micro leaves
Mozzarella and beef tomato salad (v) drizzled with a pesto dressing

Braised lamb rump, individual lamb en croute served with Madeira and mint
sauce
OR
Goat’s cheese, pear and pine nut tart (v) served with dauphinoise potato and
bundle of vegetables

Brandy basket filled with sweet strawberries served with Chantilly cream and
soft fruit coulis, accompanied with a mint and redcurrant jelly sauce, served with
roasted root vegetables and dauphinoise potatoes
20 x chicken dishes to be available for people who do not eat lamb
Wild mushroom tart (v) x 10% provision
Set on a mixed leaf salad with a fruit chutney served with roasted root vegetables
and dauphinoise potatoes
